Between the living and the dead
The ecological garden at the Technion is built according to an ecological concept in which everything in nature is not touched. People observing from the outside tend to judge the reality in front of them and see it through different glasses, so that a dead tree that is part of a complete and vitalt process in nature becomes waste, an ugly thing, that should be thrown away and removed from the garden - even though it is part of the important complex of life in it.
How do we perceive beauty? How do we perceive aesthetics?
Is nature clean? dirty? Beautiful? ugly?
When does something change to our liking?
We deal with these and other questions in this project.
